The first makes it enticing, but I really don't see a fit for Tanev. He wouldn't break into the top four, and I'm not sure that he's worth pushing guys like Sustr, Barberio, Koekkoek, Korobov, etc. down the depth chart.

If he does become available I hope the sabres are all over this. I feel like he just needs a change of scenery and increased playing time.

The thing that speaks volumes about him is that he hasn't been discouraged. His comments following the demotions show that he's still got that passion and desire to get better and make it. My feeling is that he just needs a legitimate look on the wing. He's got all the tools. I want him to succeed with the Lightning, but as the years go by I'm not sure that dream will be realized.

Not a bad decision...

I don't see Connolly ever cracking the lightning roster full time. It's seems they will keep the gun line as are 3rd line. I think jt brown will get his chance now also seems Tom Pyatt will be back soon. Would not surprise me at all if Connolly was traded in the next month or so. But his value sucks what could yzerman really get for Connolly ?

ive called my town cab service asking if they can take me to tampa bay hahahahahaha like six times tonight,maybe if i call enough times ill create a service that travels down there! they should know better!!!

ive called moncton, amherst, sackville, all the surrounding cities/towns that have cab service !! and NONE OF THEM WILL TAKE ME TO TAMPA !! (frank) .... goodnight guys ! go bolts!

I can't see it yet riley unless another major injury hits us. We all know yzerman does not like to rush young players hint why connolly is back in the ahl.

connolly is yzerman's ping pong ball what's going on does cooper hate him ? and yzerman likes him ? no good sending the kid up and down all the time keep him somewhere!

Gudas should be good. They kept him out for precautionary reasons.
